Primary School No. 39 named after Bartosz Głowacki, located in Kraków’s Grzegórzki district, on the Dąbie housing estate, has a rich history dating back to 1891. Initially a small rural school, it was gradually expanded and modernized, serving various functions – from a hospital during World War I to an important educational center with extensive healthcare for students. Over the years, the school survived difficult times, including the occupation during World War II, and the dynamic development of the Dąbie estate. Briefly transformed into a gymnasium in 1999, it returned to its original character as a primary school. Wikipedia
