Myrhorod is an ancient town in Poltava Oblast, known for its healing waters and resort area, founded in the 19th century following the discovery of a mineral spring. The town is located on the banks of the Khorol River and has a rich history connected to the Cossacks, particularly as a regimental town during the Liberation War. Today, Myrhorod is an important transport hub with a railway and several highways, and is also famous for its sanatoriums and unique local breeds of pigs and geese. Unfortunately, in 2022, the town was subjected to missile attacks by Russian forces. Wikipedia
