The Vyshnitsa Raion is located in the Chernivtsi Oblast in western Ukraine and borders Romania. Founded in 1940, it is predominantly Ukrainian in character. In 2020, the raion was enlarged as part of an administrative reform and now includes areas of the former Putyla and Kitzman Raions. Today, the raion is divided into 9 Hromadas. Wikipedia
