Bedevlya is an ancient village in the Transcarpathian region, founded in 1225, with a rich history linked to the legends of Voivode Dragos and the possible founding of Moldavia. The ruins of an old 17th-century church and remnants of a secret underground passage have been preserved here. The village is famous for its picturesque landscapes, located between the Teresva and Tysa rivers, and the St. John the Baptist Men's Monastery, founded in 1719 and reactivated in 1991.
