The Ötztal is a 65-kilometer-long side valley of the Inn Valley in Tyrol, known for its impressive landscape of glaciers, mountains, and valleys. It encompasses the municipalities of Sautens, Oetz, Umhausen, Längenfeld, and Sölden and is internationally renowned as a popular winter sports area with resorts such as Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. However, the valley also offers a variety of leisure activities in summer, from hiking through the fertile valley floors to exploring the glacier region. The Ötztal dialect, one of the oldest Austrian dialects, also shapes the local culture.Wikipedia
