Brusyliv is a village in the Chernihiv region with a population of around 1600 people. Its history dates back to Lithuanian times (first mentioned in 1527) and is linked to the settlement of Perekop. In the 17th century, the sloboda of Novyi Brusyliv emerged nearby, settled by migrants from the Kyiv region, and the villages later merged. Brusyliv has a rich history of changing ownership, including periods under Jan Horbachevskyi and Adam Kisil. Wikipedia
