The Nordbad in Dresden’s Äußerer Neustadt is the city’s oldest swimming pool and boasts a long history – it first opened in 1895. Following extensive renovations, it now shines as a popular social meeting place with swimming pools (including one with an adjustable floor!), sauna and wellness facilities. In addition to swimming lessons and aqua aerobics, the Nordbad attracts visitors with a Finnish and herbal sauna, steam room, and a spacious rooftop terrace. Around 83,000 guests visit the historic pool annually.
