Oborniki Śląskie is a charming town in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, located near Wrocław and Trzebnica. Its history dates back to the 13th century – the first records come from 1305. Originally a village, it developed in the 19th century as a popular spa town, utilizing local iron-rich springs and picturesque landscapes. The town is also known for the poet Karol von Holtei, who was associated with this region.
