Ivanopillya is a village with a rich history in the Donetsk region, founded in the 18th century on the banks of the Kryvyi Torets River. The settlement arose on the border of Zaporozhian Cossack lands and the Russian Empire, and its name is linked to the legend of the stone carver Kravets. The development of the village is connected with Cossackdom and landowners, later with agriculture and coal mining. Today, Ivanopillya is a modern village with gasification and convenient transport links, near the geological monument Balka Kravetska.Wikipedia
