Kalynove is a small village in the Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk Oblast, founded in 1885 by Mennonites under the name Marienort. It was once home to an active Mennonite community with a prayer house, school, and various enterprises. According to the 2001 census, the majority of residents (74.89%) consider Ukrainian to be their native language. The village is located 32 km from the district center.Wikipedia
