The Church of the Transfiguration in Wąsosz is a historic, Gothic temple from the 16th century, steeped in history. Construction began before 1508, and the church suffered several times from fires and war damage, including Swedish invasions. Rebuilt over the centuries, it captivates with its Neo-Gothic architecture, ribbed vaulting, and rich polychrome paintings from 1926. Be sure to note the bells, including the one from 1718, and the Neo-Gothic interior furnishings.
