Dolsk is an ancient village in Volyn, in the Kovel district, known since the 14th century for its Mykolaivskyi Monastery, likely founded by Prince Volodymyr Vasylkovych. The name comes from “valley,” where the picturesque Dolské Lake is located. Archaeological artifacts found here attest to an ancient settlement. The population is approximately 480 people. Wikipedia
