Zhashkiv is a town in the Черкаська область with a population of over 14,000, located on the banks of the Литвинка and Торч rivers. Its history dates back to the 17th century, and the town is mentioned on the Боплан map. Zhashkiv is home to the largest livestock market in Europe, as well as well-developed infrastructure including a hospital, schools, kindergartens, cultural institutions, and bank branches.
