Zavidovo is a historic village near Mukachevo with a rich history dating back to 1466. The village is known for its Kushtanovych culture burial mounds and abundant orchards, particularly the famous Zavidovo cherries. A blend of different cultures and religions is evident here, reflected in the presence of both Orthodox and Greek Catholic churches. In Zavidovo, you can see the historic stone Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a local spring.
