Pune Metro is a developing mass rapid transit system with three lines totaling 66.27 km, currently operating two lines spanning 32.97 km (as of Nov 2024). The Purple Line runs from PCMC to Swargate, partially underground, while the Aqua Line connects Vanaz to Ramwadi, both offering increased trip frequency during peak hours. A third line, the elevated Puneri Metro, is under construction from Hinjawadi to Civil Court, connecting with the other lines at a central interchange.
