Mosonmagyaróvár is a historic town in northwestern Hungary, located at the confluence of the Litava and Moson-Danube rivers, close to the borders with Slovakia and Austria. With a population of around 33,000, it is the third-largest city in Győr-Moson-Sopron county and boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times. The town was formed by the merging of two older settlements, Moson and Óvár, and offers an interesting combination of historical sights, thermal baths, and modern industry. Today it is an important transport hub with good road and rail connections, and attracts tourists thanks to its geothermal heating and extensive wind farm.Wikipedia
