Shyroke is a settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a former district center, located on the bank of the Inhulets River. Founded in the 18th century as a Zaporozhian winter camp, it has a rich history, including the site of a ghetto during World War II. Archaeological sites have been discovered in the settlement, and historical records of the first wooden Pokrovska Church, built by the Cossacks, have been preserved. The modern temple, located on the site of the old pharmacy, was consecrated in 2005.Wikipedia
